FAQ
registration agent
All companies in the USA are required to designate a Registration Agent in the jurisdiction where they were created. The main job of a Registration Agent is to accept official documents and court notices in case the company is sued.
In this sense, the Registration Agent accepts official notifications and forwards to the shipping address provided by the client. A company's Registrar Agent must be available to receive legal documents during normal business hours, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Companies that do not have a Registration Agent can be penalized and risk losing their status before the jurisdiction where they were created.
QuickStart offers you FREE Registration Agent service for the first year when you create your business with us.
